Annual Regatta - Sunday, July 27. (Members and Guests Only) We will continue the traditional annual AYC regatta this summer, coordinated by Hazel and David Stevenson. Boats should be ready by 12:30 pm for the captain’s meeting prior to a 1:00 pm race start. Following the race, please stay for the awards ceremony and light refreshments.

Family Picnic Nights - Thursday evenings, July 10-August 21. (Members and Guests Only) Join us by the grill for family picnic nights throughout the summer season. Tables will be set up and the grill will be hot and ready to go around 6:00 pm. Bring your family, picnic dinner, and have a great evening at the Club.

Fundraising Supper - Saturday, August 2. (Open to the Public) Come out for a great meal and wonderful company in support of continued maintenance of the clubhouse and member programming. Parker Peltzer and Caroline Colan will coordinate this supper in memory of Shelley Reed. Keep your eye out for volunteer requests to make this event a success again this year. Dances. (Open to the Public) By popular demand, the Club will host three dances this summer. Watch the website and noticeboard for additional details!

July 12, 7:00-11:00 pm - Join us Strawberry Festival Weekend and dance the night away to a live band, coordinated by Mary Sheridan. Admission $10 per person.

July 26, 6:00-9:00 pm - Family Fun Dance is back, coordinated by Frank and Michelle Barley! Everyone is welcome! Admission $10 per person or $25 for a family of 3 or more.

August 16, 7:00-11:00 pm - One more chance to dance all night with live music, coordinated by Eli Glenn. If you’re able to help out please contact Eli at (828) 244-8398, or elig0813@gmail.com. Admission $10 per person.

Annual Meeting - Saturday, August 23. (Members Only) The Club’s annual business meeting will be preceded by a social hour and potluck dinner beginning at 5:30 pm. Business will commence at 7:00 pm. A quorum of the membership is required for voting at this meeting, so please mark your calendars!

Club Closing Day - Saturday, October 11. All good things must come to an end…until next season. Docks will be removed and the clubhouse will be closed up for winter. If you are able to help, please arrive at 8:00 am. We request that kayaks, canoes, and other personal property stored by the Clubhouse be removed prior to this date. More information will be provided at the annual meeting and on the website.
